The 2nd Azerbaijan–Türkiye Spine Conference was successfully held on 17–18 November 2023 in Baku, Azerbaijan, with the support of Azerbaijan Medical University, the WFNS Spine Committee, the Turkish Neurosurgical Society, the Middle East Spine Society, and the Memorial Bahçelievler Spine Center.
This two-day international meeting focused on lumbar spinal fusion and lumbar deformity surgery, bringing together distinguished faculty members and numerous participants from both countries and abroad. The conference featured lectures, case discussions, and interactive panels, contributing to the exchange of knowledge and the strengthening of academic and clinical collaboration in spine surgery. Participation was remarkably high, reflecting the growing interest in contemporary spinal practice in the region.
During the closing session, participants also discussed future collaborative projects and educational activities planned for the coming years, underlining the sustainable nature of this partnership.
