As the International Spine Society (ISS), we actively participated in the 'Transforming National Experience in Health into Global Impact in the Century of Türkiye' program organized by the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) in Ankara. This strategic gathering brought together representatives from public institutions and non-governmental organizations to strengthen coordination in global health projects and institutional capacity building. During the meeting, stakeholders evaluated the impact of collaborative humanitarian health initiatives—which reached nearly 800,000 individuals in 2025—and discussed future strategies to further transfer medical expertise and build sustainable health systems in diverse geographies. As ISS, we remain committed to contributing to this global vision through our ongoing educational and surgical endeavors.
