Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to share the successful conclusion of the "Lumbar Spinal Endoscopic Interventions and Live Surgery Course," held on December 14, 2024, at Adana City Hospital. This intensive training was organized as part of the Spinal Surgery Education Meetings series, with the esteemed support of the WFNS, Middle East Spine Society (MESS), and several leading Turkish health institutions.
The scientific program, moderated by Prof. Dr. Onur Yaman and other distinguished faculty, covered the full spectrum of minimal invasive techniques—from the anatomy of Kambin’s Triangle to advanced interlaminar and transforaminal endoscopic approaches. A key highlight of the day was the Live Surgery session, where 10 participants joined the operating theater for a real-time Interlaminar Endoscopic Lumbar Discectomy.
Beyond endoscopy, the sessions explored posterior cervical foraminotomy, vertebral fracture management, and emerging biological research on disc regeneration and exosome roles. We extend our gratitude to the Adana City Hospital Neurosurgery Clinic and all participating faculty for their dedication to advancing surgical education.
