On 28–29 October 2024, the 3rd International Conference & Cadaveric Workshop was held in Dhaka, Bangladesh, with the support of the Neurospine Society of Bangladesh, the Turkish Neurosurgical Society, and the Middle East Spine Society. The two-day meeting focused primarily on adult spinal deformity surgery. In addition to comprehensive scientific sessions, osteotomy techniques were demonstrated on cadavers, and a live surgery was successfully performed by Assoc. Prof. Salim Şentürk and Assoc. Prof. Yahya Güvenç.
The conference was attended by 280 participants and generated significant interest, receiving strong support from both the Bangladesh Ministers of Health and Education. Productive discussions led to the development of new collaborative plans for the coming years.
We also had the honor of celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Republic of Türkiye together with our Ambassador in Dhaka, H.E. Ramis Şen.
